Steps from Bayou St John, a historic four-bay double shotgun home received a modern, playful conversion into a single-family home. Upon entry, the front two rooms have been connected with a custom keyhole-shaped opening for a bit of unique visual interest. Thoughtful pops of color were used throughout the house in order to bring the otherwise calm, neutral palette to life.
